How it works

How Cine Novelist works

Cine Novelist carries a film from unstable idea to irreversible choice: development, preproduction, the shoot, and the room after the lights come up. It's one desk for a writer, a producer, or a company with a slate.

1. Bring what you actually have

A sentence. A still. A draft, pasted or as a PDF, Final Draft or Fountain file. An ending you won't betray. A budget scare. A bible that must stay a hypothesis. The desk doesn't need a tidy brief.

2. Cine Novelist opens the right desk

The mode follows the work, not a chatbot persona:

Phase Modes
Development Ask, Develop, Coverage, Bible, Pitch
Preproduction Scene, Cast, Board, Money, Finance
The shoot Direct, Performance
After Post, Market, Release

3. Page, gap and hypothesis are marked

What the draft establishes isn't mixed with what the room is guessing. If a choice is irreversible, it's named as such. Human judgment remains the authority.

Three rules on every desk

Diagnosis before a rewrite. Coverage is a diagnosis of the whole file, separating designed discomfort from defect. It isn't a polish pass on the opening ten pages.

Labels stay labels. Page, inference and gap stay on different lines. Generated frames are hypotheses until a human adopts them.

The irreversible is named. The desk won't tidy your film into something safer, kinder or more saleable against its grain.

Brainstorm: talk without making it canon

Think out loud with another brain. The talk stays talk, and nothing said in a brainstorm counts as page evidence until you pick a beat, send it to a desk and confirm. Each Send is a confirmed Ask and spends normal credits.

Upload a take

Bring the sides and the audio of a take. Performance reads it in three lines kept apart: the page, the transcript with its timestamps, and a read. It gives rehearsal help, with pace taken from the recording. Feeling is a read, not a score.

Pitch packs

Imagine, Video and Voice pack a pitch with stills, motion and voice. They don't finish a picture the pages haven't earned.

Install

Install from pro.cinenovelist.com on Mac, iPhone, Windows or Android. The icon opens the desk, not the brochure.

Who uses it

A writer protecting an ending. A producer checking schedule fragility or the financing story before a buyer misreads it. A director working through camera morality, blocking and stillness. The same film stays on the desk across all three.

Questions

What can I put on the desk?

A sentence, a still, a draft (pasted, PDF, Final Draft or Fountain), an ending, a budget constraint, or a bible.

Is Cine Novelist a chatbot?

No. Modes are jobs, not personalities, and labels keep page, gap and hypothesis apart.

Will it rewrite my film into something safer?

No. Designed discomfort and defect are named separately, and an irreversible choice is named as such.
